High?Linearity, Response?Range Adjustable Force Sensors Based on a Yarn/Film/Spacer Triboelectric Device Design

In this study, a novel triboelectric device is developed that consists of silicone-coated conductive yarn and PET film as active substances, an elastic spacer force controller. The prepared by applying thermally curable silicone to yarns using simple but continuous method. made 20 cm long can generate peak voltage high 225 V current outputs 2.4 µA. functions maintain the in separate state when no loaded adjust response threshold detection range changing area. comparison force-sensors reported previously, yarn/film shows much larger (24–380 N) higher flexibility tuning range. output voltage-input curves devices have R2 value above 0.91, indicating good linearity between input output. Moreover, theoretical model elucidate influence area on sensitivity. Such yarn/film/spacer sensor design may be useful for development low-cost sensors various applications.
